The Witches is weird, dark, and definitely not a comedy. But it’s actually not a bad movie. Highly recommend NOT watching this movie with children. It’s sad, dark, and somewhat scary. As a Roald Dahl adaptation, the storytelling is pretty solid and Anjelica Houston is very good, as always. If you can get past the weirdness, it’s a good movie.

Don’t have much more to say except that this is probably a deviation from the ‘comedy’ category, but it was labeled as part comedy on IMDB, so I went with it.
