This is always a fun movie. I’m not learning much about the 1990’s or about myself but I am encountering a few movies I enjoy, so that’s good. It’s hard for me to even figure out where this movie falls in the trajectory of cinema but I guess it was sort of a late summer throwaway at the time. Steve Martin is great and Rick Moranis is really a very solid actor. It’s not my favorite Joan Cusack role but I always enjoy seeing her. One of the best things about this movie is that it’s really quotable, which makes sense since it was written by Nora Ephron.
