Bird On A Wire

Movie #35

Date Released: 5.18.1990

Date Watched: 7.17.2020

Reaction:

This movie really falls flat and it’s hard to explain why. It could be the writing, it could be the pace, it could be bad chemistry between the two leads, Goldie Hahn and Mel Gibson. In essence, this has the plot of any good action or crime movie. I like Mel Gibson (despite the strange anti-semitism stuff) and I like Goldie Hahn, but the two just sort of fizzle together. I also feel the plot comes together in a strange order, which makes it difficult to know who to care about or root for. Anyway, it seems like it is a movie with all the right materials but assembled in the wrong way.

Ok. Now on to Cadillac Man
